Group Therapy

I am currently inviting young people age 14-17 to join an in person Expressive Arts Therapy group for teens located in NW Philadelphia.

I am also looking to partner with organizations and therapy practices to offer expressive arts group therapy to their adolescent client base.

As a group therapist my role is to foster an environment where participants feel seen, connected, and engaged despite the difficult emotions and topics we may sometimes face in group.

I see myself as a facilitator prompting and empowering participants to take up space, use their voice, and connect authentically to one another.  In addition to facilitating creative and mindful movement exercises I invite other creative mediums into the group based on participants' interests.

Simultaneously we develop our craft and our sense of self in community. The magic is when we can't tell the difference between art making and "therapy"
