These accessible, low-commitment workshops offer a supportive space to connect with your body and the present moment, alongside others in a shared experience.

The Somatic+Creative Reset was developed to give clients in somatic therapy a dedicated time and place to practice body-based skills beyond individual sessions. It’s also great for those curious about non-traditional healing approaches, whether or not they’re in therapy.

Designed to deepen your healing through movement and creative expression, these workshops are an inviting way to explore self-awareness and resilience in a shared, nurturing environment.

About Somatic+Creative Reset Workshop Offering

What Will You Experience?
This 90-minute workshop combines guided mindfulness meditation with creative and movement-based practices. The first half will be a guided meditation based in the practice of mindfulness. Participants will be welcomed to lay down or be in a seated position. The meditation may include a body scan, visualization, and/or a parts work oriented exploration. The second half offers “choice time”: expressive arts stations for self-exploration, or mindful movement led by Shara, set to soothing music in a quiet environment.

How Is It Unique?
Unlike typical yoga or meditation classes, this workshop is tailored for mental health and well-being. Shara brings her expertise as a licensed clinical social worker, integrating knowledge about anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. The focus is on building a deeper relationship with yourself, not on mastering yoga or meditation techniques.

Is It Inclusive?
Absolutely. Designed to be accessible and comfortable for everyone, including neurodivergent, trauma survivors, those in recovery, or with different abilities. Shara emphasizes choice and responsiveness—feel free to contact Shara and ask questions beforehand.

Why In Person?
So much of our lives are now in virtual space. Shara has picked up on a demand for more in person services, yet many therapists may not be able to meet that need for various reasons. The workshop is an opportunity for healing in a live space with others, which is a great complement to weekly virtual therapy services or a stand alone therapeutic experience.

Is It Group Therapy?
No. This is a collective experiential space focused on internal processing without verbal sharing. Shara supports your well-being and can offer referrals or consultation  if needed.

What to Bring/Wear
Comfortable clothing suitable for movement, a yoga mat, water, and optional items like an eye pillow, headphones, or journal. Feel free to bring any materials that support your comfort and self-expression.
